Where The Horses Help Heal Humans

Manes and Tails is an all-volunteer non-profit organization, founded to increase and improve Equine Assisted Services for all of Aroostook County, Maine. We are amazed at how many ways horses help people improve their balance in life.

We train as facilitators and offer programs at our centers in Monticello and Van Buren.  We also provide a list of County stables catering to people with special needs, and encourage families to find the program that best suits their needs. Programs are designed to meet the diverse needs of our clients. We also support Equine Assisted Services in Aroostook County by raising funds to assist clients and facilitators to attend chosen programs or training respectively.
