CALLED TO ORDER: 6:30 pm

NARHA Certification requirements reviewed. Presentation will be given again at next meeting in Houlton, May 12th.

Minutes of 03/10/05 approved as written with correction Don not yet added to bank account. Paper work finalized and to be given to bank.

TREASURER'S REPORT: Please keep track of in kind donations and bring to next meeting. $20 received "In Memory". Will send out checks for Raffle winner and 2 student scholarships. $200 received from Rick Daigle of Fort Kent for a 10 lesson student scholarship.

OLD BUSINESS: Yard Sale May 21 & 22. Need volunteers to work and to bring in article for sale and man the yard. Post signs at businesses. Nancy to contact newspapers to post public service announcements. Money from sale will go towards instructor education.

Follow up on 3 Students approved for funding : two were approved in '04 for $100ea will start soon. One for '05 approved for $150.

NEW BUSINESS: A Healthy Maine Partnership: Dean Grivois reviewed Program funding proposal with Nancy. Funding is available to provide healthy meals and snacks if program is approved. For more information contact Dean or Sherry at 868-2796 ext. 3013/3039.

Nancy shared info on contacting businesses for sponsoring students, program funding or donating equipment.

Group approved purchasing Stationary with logo.

Other: Kevin Bouchard , Fort Fairfield, is farming, buying and selling hay and can deliver. Adjourned: 8 pm
